'Tis the Season

With Fall fully upon us the summer of Iced Soy Chai Bombs and Iced Lattes has given way to a fall of Peppermint Mochas and Pumpkin Spiced Lattes.  These are fast becoming the most popular coffee drinks this season. They are the perfect thing to warm you up as the temperature starts to drop, not to mention totally delicious.  Treat yourself right- Come in and try something new this season. Here are some Seasonal Drink Ideas for you:


Peppermint Mocha: Perfectly pulled espresso shots with peppermint and steamed chocolate milk made with Zuma- fair-trade Dark Chocolate powder.  Top it with whipped cream and chocolate syrup. Tastes like liquid Peppermint Patty. YUM!


Hot Carmel Apple Cider- Apple Cider steamed with a dash of Cinnamon and mixed with a touch of Carmel. You'd swear your were drinking a Carmel Apple made by your Nana.

Did you know Modern Robot plays regularly at the Green Bean? What?? You have never seen Modern Robot?? Shame be on you.

Modern Robot is the amazing duo of Ben Singer and Kyle Poehling. Besides being incredible musicians they also have a penchant for old and sometimes obscure films. Their shows include projecting on a large screen B movie classics with the sound turned off while they create a new improvised soundtrack to the film. Recent shows at the Green Bean have included Plan 9 from Outer Space.  Yes, Affirmative-Modern Robot must be seen to be believed!!! 

Tonight at the Green Bean they are doing the classic horror film: Night of the Living Dead.

So after almost ten years in business and never really having a good website, we decided it was time we checked out this so called "inter-webs" thing. Quite frankly it's a little futuristic for me but all the kids seem to be into it. So welcome to our website blog. Check out the calendar for upcoming shows and what not. Look uo there at the top row and see the button marked "hours"....yes, that is the hours we are open so you can quit calling us at all hours of the day to ask if we are open (thank you :). Also, check out the menu and our "Buzz" Page, which features an upcoming show we are really excited about.
